Ed Fordham
Ed has worked across the political spectrum at all levels - an avowed community activist, he has worked for many years delivering services in local government. Ed has worked in recent years at the Local Government Association, Local Partnerships (the commercial arm jointly owned by the LGA and HM Treasury), London Borough of Sutton and Watford Borough Council where he was Head of Office of the elected Mayor Dorothy Thornhill.
Further, Ed has a track record as an innovative, inspirational and experienced trainer. He has worked across the UK providing training at Conference in plenary and in smaller groups as well as one-to-one mentoring. More recently this has developed with a series of commissions in Sierra Leone, Zimbabwe, Sri Lanka (working with Pakistani politicians) and Bosnia. A passionate internationalist Ed has combined his interest in human rights and tackling poverty, with his political insight and has an understanding of political systems across the world including the Middle East.
Russell Eagling
Russell Eagling has been working in political communications for over ten years. He knows how to get your message across: be it on posters, leaflets, social media, websites or email.
He has produced branding for the Nick Clegg leadership election campaign and has worked with organisations such as Local Partnerships and The Ramblers to produce eye-catching and direct campaigns.
As an elected councillor himself, he knows the value of addressing key messages to key audiences and understands how colour, visuals and text can compliment each other to reinforce values.
